Nuclear Family

This film was shot in Prague. My first foray into directing short films was a trial by fire as I overcame a language barrier with my cast to shoot a foreign film in a language I do not speak. Nuclear Family is inspired in part by my own upbringing and a bit of an obsession with puppets that I developed. It explores familial conflict while examining the absurd measures that people take in order to understand each other. It was an official selection at the 2020 Capital City Film Fest.
